The vessel is fitted with twin Ford MERMAID MAGNUM 400hp engines with reduction gearboxes connected conventionally to stainless steel shafts and propellers . Fuel range is extensive indicated to be approximately 600NM. It is reported that the vessel has a 'cruising speed' of circa 18 knots with a top speed of around 25 knots - subject to loading.

The highly acclaimed AQUASTAR 43 from this well-known and respected Guernsey yard - builders of a well-established range of sea going craft between 38 - 85ft. This capable cruiser has an excellent accommodation package offering the distant cruiserman everything they need. The comfortable living quarters are set out in a three cabin layout but one of her principal features is the wheelhouse environment which is both spacious and functional. The predominate reason you would buy an Aquastar is their proven sea-going qualities associated with the semi-displacement hull design. With a substantial power train, she will achieve a good cruising speed of around 18 knots with relative ease and still with some reserve power. You need to experience the inbred qualities of these craft to appreciate their capabilities. We are presenting this craft in association with lead representatives.

Accommodation:
From forward: The FORECABIN provides two single berths with lockers for clothing, etc. Adjacent the HEADS and shower compartment is of ample size with all usual refinements. A fore -deck hatch in the gangway allows light, ventilation and provides also an emergency exit. GALLEY area at the lower level has a two burner cooker, oven, etc., sink unit and H&C pressurised water. A refrigerator is installed together with ample storage areas above and below the wipe-down preparation surfaces. A central gangway leads up to the WHEELHOUSE with helm console to port and navigators' position to starboard with full size chart table. Engine controls and instrumentation are in close proximity and both helmsman and the navigation areas have seating providing good panoramic vision from either vantage point. Electronic displays a re in close proximity and there is chart storage, space for hand-books, etc. provided. Behind the helm area is a full size dining table seat within a U-shaped, fully upholstered, seating arrangement. Access to the rear MASTER CABIN which has a large double bed and adjacent HEADS compartment with shower facility. The BRIDGE DECK area provides a great observation platform and easy access around the vessel when underway. The spacious FLY-DECK area has comfortable seating for the helm and passengers and the secondary steering position is fitted with duplicated instrumentation and controls. A stainless steel arch is set above and carries the antennae and navigation lights. The cabin accommodation has a heating system with demisting facility and hot water is provided via a calorifier system using waste heat from the engines.
