Additional Information:

Ideal for club eventing or distance sailing. These craft have a spacious interior - due to their wide beam and high free-board - providing a comfortable and manageable craft. Named 'General Kaos' this craft offers up to 8 berths or a very comfortable 4 or 6. A comprehensive package and a vessel that has a timeless design appeal. Built in 1986 - Yard no. B173. The hull below waterline has signs of osmosis conducive with her age hence her low price. With the Broker, ashore.

Accommodation:
From AFT: The Cockpit offers a genuine '6-seater' with bench seating to Port & Starboard and a bridge deck location for main-sheet traveller and track close to hand. The tiller bar is long enough to be handled standing forward between the seats. A section of the seats lifts giving access to the gas bottle stowage, venting overboard. Entering the accommodation is by removal of a substantial tinted Perspex wash-board. Removed, provides a generous opening under the blue spray-hood/canopy (new in 2008) supported by s/s folding hoops. Below is the MAIN CABIN offering a comfortable area for up to 5 persons - possibly more! The design uses the generous beam and substantial head-room to maximise the space. The companionway steps also serve as access to the engine for daily checks and servicing. To Starboard is the GALLEY in L-form with sink and drainer. The s/s sink has a foot-pumped water supply. Beyond is purpose-made shelving with cut-away fronts for the stowage of crockery. The current owners are including the following items in a sale: 240vAC toaster & kettle - 'pots & pans' - cooking utensils, plates, bowls, dishes, mugs and cups, cutlery, etc. A gimballed FLAVELL hob/grill/oven is set at right-angles to the sink unit. Beyond are more stowage spaces. To Port, at the foot of the companionway steps, is the CHART TABLE (facing outboard) with seating provided by the 'head' of the quarter berth. The table has a level, hinged top with stowage under and the listed electronic navigation units mounted on purpose-made 'back-board'. The forward area forward includes a drop-leaf table on the centre-line and bench-seating with purpose-made upholstered cushions to P&S, serving as berths when required. Under the seating, generous stowage spaces are provided. Sliding fronts are fitted to stowage spaces, under the windows, Port & Starboard. All internal upholstery was renewed with high-grade marine fabric (2012/13). Ahead, the forward bulkhead provides not only a solid door for privacy from the Main cabin, closing to the FORECABIN spaces which include a hanging locker
to Port and the Heads (toilet) compartment to Starboard. The latter has a solid door and has a s/ s hand-basin, mirror and manually operated sea-water Jabsco toilet unit (fitted new 2010) . Beyond are two single berths in V-form, making a double berth with the infill provided. The berths have stowage spaces under. The cabin has a deck-head glazed hatch for light, ventilation and - if required - emergency escape to the Foredeck. The accommodation is fully lined, with a 'teak & holly' sole (floor) throughout, with a number of flush hatches to allow access to the hull spaces. The ambiance is one of comfort, security and much-cared for, with varnished timber, panelled doors and good lighting.
