An opportunity has arisen to purchase a unique MCA coded passenger carrying vessel. Freespirt is an Aquabell 33 Flybridge Mediterranean model built by Goodchild Marine in 1997. Freespirt has been completely re-engineered and developed into a comfortable and sea capable wildlife watching platform. Over the last 11 years the current owner and (only the second owner) has maintained Freespirt with an open cheque book and an eye for detail and quality. You really wouldn’t find a better kept boat. Freespirt benefited from a new Volvo D6 380 hp engine, installed and serviced by Volvo engineers in 2019 (current hours 4000). This new engine enables economical cruising speeds and a top end speed of 21kts when fully loaded with passengers and fuel. Freespirt is 2 years into an MCA CAT 4 coding and can carry 12 passengers and 2 crew up to 20nm from a safe haven. The electronics aboard Freespirt have also been upgraded and two large screen Raymarine chart plotters have been installed. The boat has a flybridge helm position which is fully enclosed. The rear deck and passenger seating area is also enclosed with a full and removable cover. Freespirt is a safe cruising boat and a safe platform for passengers, the boat has also been optimised for passenger interaction with wildlife. There is a PA system, toilet, full walk around deck with high safety railings, a bowsprit provides amazing safe wildlife viewing and a flush rear deck provides easy access for guests.
