The Kemrock Channel 30 is a heavy motor-sailer with the emphasis firmly on the motor. Originally built as a five-berth boat, the interior of the example shown here has been extensively altered to provide comfortable cruising accommodation for two, with two more berths available if required by using the saloon dinette. The Perkins engine gives just over 9 knots maximum speed, with a comfortable cruising speed of 7½ knots.
