Caley Marina is situated on the Caledonian Canal just south of the top flight at Muirtown Locks, and a short drive from the centre of the capital city of the Highlands, Inverness. The company started life as Caley Cruisers in 1969 when Jim and Elizabeth Hogan bought a Norwegian built Myra 21 and made it available for hire on Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal. They gradually increased the fleet and in the space of 8 years it had grown to number 16 boats, all Princess motor cruisers built by Marine Projects in Plymouth. In 1978 Jim and Elizabeth purchased the property alongside the cruisers location which was then known as Ness Marine and thus, Caley Marina was born. 38 years later it is still a family run business with daughter Audrey Hogan running Caley Cruisers with a fleet of 26 modern cruisers and son Jamie Hogan in charge of the marina and workshop.

We are the sole UK importer and main dealer for the complete range of Pioner boats from Norway We stock Lifejackets, Garmin, Hummingbird and Raymarine chart plotters, navigation lights, International paint, Imray and Admiralty charts, Gill clothing, flares, bilge pumps, and much more. As main dealers we have a well stocked parts department with Volvo, Yamaha and Eberspacher parts straight off the shelf, or if needed, by next day delivery from Volvo in Belgium or Yamaha in Holland. Caley Marina is also a service agent for Eberspacher and Webasto heating systems. For your peace of mind and safety, we service all types of lifejackets, once a year recommended for commercial use and every two years for leisure use.

Minor to major repairs can be taken care of in our large workshop facilities with all types of fibreglass, mechanical and stainless steel fabrication catered for. If you need your inboard or outboard engine serviced or repaired, no matter the make, we can do that. If you need some work done on your standing or running rigging, we can take care of that for you, with masting and de-masting capabilities of up to 16 metres in length. If you need a fully fitted out Category C workboat, we can build one to your specific requirements. If you need your boat lifted out of the water for some below the waterline repairs, we can do that for you with our Dutch made Roodberg boat lift which can handle a 12 meter boat weighing up to 15 tonnes.
