Much sought after 6.9m (plus outboard pods) Cheetah catamaran with reliable and powerful Yamaha F100 fuel injected outboards each with individual tachometers. This boat has wide opening doors to both sides of the deck, makes for very easy boarding from a pontoon as well as from the water (lightweight boarding ladder included and stored in forward hatch).
The hulls are treated with Copper Coat anti foul which is good for years to come so no need for frequent re-coating. Being a twin engined boat makes for safe and controlled manoeuvring in addition to the peace of mind that two engines brings. Each engine has its own optimax starting battery (can be linked) and there are two Odyssey PC2250 domestic batteries (cost over £780 in July 2018).
This boat has a large, flat, uncluttered and self draining deck with high freeboard and stainless rails providing a safe space to fish from and ample room for a table and chairs.
The cabin will seat six and there is plenty of storage beneath the bench seats as well as in the very large forward compartment.
Anchoring is controlled from the helm position via a Lewmar Professional series windlass (2018) and 100ft of calibrated chain (approx).
A powerful Stryker HID Golight searchlight is fitted to the cabin roof and controlled from the helm and also a battery operated remote. There are interior lights for the cabin and forward compartment and LED lights for the deck. Navigation and anchor lights are fitted. A horn is fitted to the cabin roof. There is a shore power connection, Victron Multiplex Inverter charger and cable is included. Also in the cabin is a fixed compass and 12v outlet. The stereo seen in the pictures is not working and has been disconnected. The cabin has side opening windows and a roof hatch.
There are stainless steel keel bands fitted which make for safer beaching. A pair of removable deck wind deflectors provide extra shelter from the elements. A seating pod for the deck is available but not fitted. It has a large storage compartment under but the vinyl seat has a couple of tears. There is a large bait/fish prep table fitted over the transom, easily removed and two stainless rod holders.
The anodes have been renewed and new fuel water separator filters are fitted.
I will include life vests, warps and fenders.
Also included in this sale is a roadworthy, two axle, braked trailer. This is all aluminium framed and has never been in the water. It has been converted to fit this catamaran and I used it to transport the boat from Essex to Pembrokeshire when it performed faultlessly (two new spare wheels and tyres included).
This boat is fifteen years old and there are numerous minor marks and scuffs. There is cosmetic damage to the engine covers, this does not affect their function or integrity in any way.
