Hydraulics:

There are two hydraulic pumps one driven by the main engine the other driven by the large diesel generator, either one can be used to run the hydraulic system, which consists of a one ton North Sea anchor winch, and a Pot hauler winch which is used to hoist the mainsail.

Electronics:

Sinrad Robertson autopilot, JRC radar, echo sounder, two VHF radios, desktop computer running navigation software electronic charts for whole UK and Ireland, and the Atlantic cost of France Spain and Portugal to Gibralta.

The vessel was built of oak on oak in Cameret in 1954 where she fished for Crayfish and Tuna as far south as the African coast until the 1980's when she was sold to Newlyn where she continued working as a crabber until 2002 when she was converted to the fine Gaff wheelhouse ketch you see above. Since then she has attended the Brest and Douarnenez festivals in 2008 Paimpol in 2009 and 2011 She has also cruised the west coast of Scotland, Northern Ierland, The Isle of Man, and the Welsh coast.She comes with six sails, Flying jib, jib, staysail, gaff mainsail, jackyard topsail, and gaff mizzen. Approximately 2000 square feet,all in good condition. The deck saloon contains seating for 10 and an all electric galley. Below deck forard the main cabin is a large open plan space with 6 bunks, it also contains a deep freeze and a second domestic fridge. This space would lend itself to conversion into 4 double cabins. Forard of a collision bulkhead is a chain locker and a large space used for storage which would convert to another 2 good sized cabins. There are two heads with sea toilet and basin, one aft and one forard with shower. There is a washing machine in the spacious engineroom and a small workshop. Access to large storage space below the main cabin floor. Aft the engineroom bulkhead there is a double bunk and yet more storage. Deck equipment consists of 100kg admiralty pattern anchor with 100m 3/4 bar-link chain, a large fishermans anchor and a CQR. Finally 6man liferaft and a Rutland wind generator situated on wheelhouse roof.
