SERIOUSLY FOR SALE: The HALMATIC 44 is one of those iconic hull designs established from a long line of purpose built commercially operated vessels from this well known stable. They operate around the world in many differing applications but the Pilot version tipifies the success of the marque and their
accomplishments in the field of pilot transfer are legendary. 'PATHFINDER' is one of two H44's operated initially by Trinity House and subsequently ESL (Port of London Auth.) serving the southern North Sea area. There is a good history of refit work available. Her sistership 'Polorus' operates pilot operations at Newhaven Harbour. Currently MCA Coded to Cat. 2 (60 MSH). Extensive refit 2008-2012.

Accommodation Details:
The simple layout fiollows the usual pilot vessel format - From forward - FOREPEAK AREA - serves mainly as storage for onboard inventory with access to the peak with a watertight closure. HEADS - compartment (S) with sea toilet and some storage areas and adjacent (P) a wash hand basin is installed with manual cold pump. Watertight door to: ENGINE ROOM - central check-a-plate walkway between each installation providing easy access for servicing and maintenance of the engines and gearboxes. Most auxiliary functions are installed here again providing good access and the environment is served by ventilation ducts within the cabin trunk and from the after bulkhead. Central access to: WHEELHOUSE with helm station to port with single lever Morse Teleflex engine controls and Mathway rod steering system. Helmsman and navigator plus 4 No. passenger suspension seating ranged P&S of the cabin with some storage in areas below the seats and adjacent. Good headroom throughout and there are watertight doors forward and aft which leads to... EXTERNAL DECK - flush to gunwhale non-slip deck surface with outboard toe rail and inboard stainless rail system rope bound. A Hadrian safety rail extends from the after end following the inner rail for its length. An 'Island' rail is provided forward. Substantial deck fittings serve the vessel. FENDERING - substantially bolted rubber system to the gunwhale strake with inter straking for the main part. The shoulder areas are amply reinforced against impact when alongside moving ships.
