Additional Information:

The LM 27 is one of the most popular small motor sailers from the range of craft built by LM Boats I nter'l A/S, Denmark. The craft offers a good level of comfort, with a Galley outside of the main accommodation (required by Danish regulations) a generous Cockpit with over-hang from cabin construction for protection of the raised helm. BROKER'S COMMENTS: Known to us with the present and previous owners who have not only taken care of this c raft but been keen to see that all maintenance has been carried out and a number of improvements made including a 'Copper-Coat' hull application in March 2013. At the same time, the hull and superstructure were professionally polished. Surveyed in 2012 and all recommendations were undertaken.

Accommodation:
From FWD: FORECABIN with access to anchor locker through forward bulkhead. Double berth formed by two wide single berths in V-form with infill. Open cove lockers to sides. Fabric lining to cabin sides; pvc head-lining; fixed windows with curtains; stowage under berths. Hatch to Fore-deck for ventilation & emergency escape. Coming aft through a folding door in strong pvc faced fabric, to MAIN CABIN with seating/berths each side, each with stowage under and with upholstered seat & back cushions. Table on the centre-line with folding side sections. When set-up can provide for six persons. Open cove lockers and 'slide to open' lockers to sides under windows. All timber finished in beech veneer. Carpet to the cabin sole. All windows have been replaced within the past 5 years. A central feature is the glazed ventilation in the deck-head. Based on a very classic style, the two sloping glazed sections, hinged to allow fresh air and light into the cabin. An external cover is provided. Aft of the seating areas to Port, is the HEADS compartment with marine toilet and pull-out basin with pressurised water supply. Some stowage for toiletries, etc. Opposite, to Starboard is a hanging locker and with solid timber front. A similar timber door separates the accommodation and the COCKPIT spaces. The helm position is to Starboard, raised to provide good visibility all around. A refrigerator is located within the supporting structure. A hatch, directly above the helm, opens to provide both ventilation as well as clear all-round viewing. The superstructure has three forward windows (all fixed and with wipers). The HELM location has engine throttle/gear control and instrumentation together with the listed navigation items. Opposite is the GALLEY. This comprises a timber structure with drawers and cupboards below. The top has a stainless steel 'moulded' drainer & sink, with cold water supply (fresh water tank cleaned and sterilised in 2010). A 2-burner gas hob, set within the purpose built steel 'tray' is also at this level (see photo) The timber galley structure has covers, drawers and lockering. The extension of the accommodation superstructure offers some protection. The remaining space of the Cockpit has fore & aft cushioned bench seats to both Stbd and Port, with stowage under, including the gas cylinder located in a purpose GRP box and cover, with an evacuating vent leading through the hull All vinyl upholstered cushions in the Cockpit were replaced in April 2011. At the transom, there is a folding extendable table and the tiller steering location. The table extends virtually to the Galley. The whole of the Cockpit - from forward wind-screens to right aft - has purpose-made covers (new 2013) and supports, including a zip-out section over the stern end of the Cockpit. This allows easy entry to the Cockpit. The door in the bulkhead adjacent to the helm and Galley has a lock fitted, limiting only the owner family having access.
