The 'Lottie Rose' was built in Scotland by Peter Matheson. She is based on a 'Stroma Yawl' design and as such is an excellent sea boat and very safe. The boat is built of oak planking which is a minimum of 14 mm thick. The backbone is Iroco. She has a small cuddy forward for shelter in inclement weather. She has a dipping lugsail rig and a custom built galvanised trailer which itself is valued at £2,000 The trailer was made by RM Trailers and is for suitable 2000 kilograms.
