Prime Time is regularly well cared for even though it has not been used since putting it up for sale. We are selling because we are well into our later years in life unlike Prime Time which is in excellent condition. Prospective buyers need to view this boat and verify these details for them selves.
It is custom built, privately owned and has been used for sea angling in the Selsey Bill area. The boat is of a high specification used only in the summer season for angling and then laid up in Dell Quay Marine Yard for the winter period. During all the lay up periods the boat receives a full maintenance servicing to the manufacturers schedules.
At every winter service irrespective of schedule call up the engine has oil and filter replacement to ensure that engine wear is minimised. The onboard accommodation facilities provide two berths in the forward cabin and one in the wheelhouse. Where there is also a fold away table. The Wheelhouse berth is set at a height to enable ease of sight through the windows. The toilet is enclosed in the forward cabin along with a small Galley area. Ample storage shelves and cupboards are available inside of the Wheelhouse and Forward Cabin with additional ones under the seating lockers. Storage space is also available under the Wheelhouse floor and Cockpit deck. The cockpit deck area is self draining with latch retained lifting GRP floor boards. The most aft of these contains the Propeller access box – enabling any rope snags to be easily cleared. The Hydraulic Winch for anchor hauling is located midships at the starboard side where there is a simple forward / reverse and stop control lever. The forward deck is lined with Treadmaster for safe access with all round stainless steel handrails. The Perkins 225TI engine is extremely reliable and provides ample power and is very economical in the lower power ranges. However ample power for fast cruising is available.In 2007 the underwater hull received the complete “Coppercoat” treatment applied at the approved treatment centre at Dell Quay Marine. This protection works extremely well - keeping the hull clean and has a 10 year warranty. Prime Time is fitted with an excellent array of navigation electronics providing every opportunity for safe navigation passages in all weather conditions. The pedigree, safety and reliability of the Mitchell 31 Mk II are acknowledged by many Marine Authorities where many are in service, the vessel is offered complete to the following inventory.
