A proven commercial dive RIB capable of carrying 5 good scallop divers, catch and helm.
Registered fishing boat.
Presently coded for 10 persons.
Tubes fitted with Gemini inner tubes for ease of repair/added
protection. Work areas of tubes reinforced. Bench central seat that houses stainless fuel tank (@100l capacity)and 2 batteries raised above flooding level. A-frame will take a davit for lifting scallops or dive gear. Yamaha HPDI 200hp 2 stroke engine @1000 hours, this will power the boat to 30k no matter what the load and get you out of trouble quickly, even in the Portland race. With an increase in prop pitch higher speeds easily achievable. Originally believed to be a shortened version of a North Sea oil rescue RIB. (From Humber themselves).
Comes with Lowrance DSC VHF/FM radio. Garmin GPS. Echo sounder. Navigation lights, electric bilge pumps (one on permanent air pressure activated switch), signalling horn. Has towing eyes on transom.
Hydraulic steering.
Included, a robust heavy duty, twin axle, braked road trailer with easy launch/retrieve rollers and twin geared winch. This is capable of carrying a much heavier boat than this RIB.
Consul has storage for survival kit, flares and first aid. Boat has stainless mooring post and bow foot plate. Boat has storage for a 10man life raft (not included as hired) which doubles as a kitting up table/dive bottle storage.
This boat is a hard working reliable set up with a proven track record. Would suit dive charter, commercial scallop diving, rod and line fishing or just plain family fun.
Included is a cover for the consul and seat. A range of spare props (presently fitted with Piranha prop which performs better than the original alloy) and 2 stroke oils available.
Presently kept on mooring at Portland, Dorset but can be viewed ashore and sea trialled by arrangement.
