This iconic vessel has a long well known history on the West of Scotland, beginning life as “The Paper Boat” under the Command of the redoubtable lady owner, Henrietta Spencer. Paper in this instance being the Sundays which she was contracted to deliver to Grass Point on Mull before the days of regular ferries on the Sabbath.
This sturdy craft has served us well and has been appreciated by many thousands of visitors to several different ports along the West coast. While we are reluctant to part with this icon of the trade, and a reliable part of several family businesses throughout the years, she has been replaced by a larger more up to date vessel licenced for a larger number and so regrettably, this classic needs to move on.
