built year 2000 an 8 meter south boats offshore fishing boat. she has a perkins sabre 215c commercial spec engine that has only done 800 hours from a typical life expectancy of 10,000 hrs before rebuild needed as in sabre literature. fitted with electric capstan winch so anchoring is very easy one person operated. raymarine chart plotter, furuno sounder and radar and a simrad vhf. boat has auto pilot fitted but not connected to plotter as I changed plotter and don't use it now. 2 berths, proper gas cooker with 2 burners and oven and grill. compass, she has 2 x 200ltr fuel tanks that were removed last July and cleaned out and re fitted and deck redone. very economical boat especially if ran at approx. 2000rpm cruising, max rpm 2500. cruises 14 - 17knts tide dependant and same on top end will do approx. 21 knts tide dependant, plenty of storage, recent batteries, engine serviced regular and filters changed regular, spare filters on board. only used for pleasure angling. extra heavy commercial layup spec on hull. strongest boat this size you will find and superb sea keeping.
