Lovely classic Gardner that would be a real draw for enthusiasts. This engine is the boat's second engine after she was fitted with a Lister Blackstone engine from new. The engine originally started life in a lorry, which is a plus, because the marinised versions of the 4LK's that were in submarines had aluminium sumps which can no longer be sourced. This originally land based version is still running like a dream.

Lavrock is a delightful 1966 Mk II Spey 35 Motorsailer designed by Watson, she is built from Larch on Oak with a fabulous Teak deck. She has a long keel and heavy displacement (14 tons) which amplify her excellent sea keeping abilities.
