Ive been restoring this boat with the intention of keeping her for a long time,so haven't scrimped on doing what's needed.
But she s 73 years old so needs someone to continue looking after her.
Engine was seized when I got her partially sunk 2019, fully stripped down to every last nut and bolt and rebuilt and repainted in primer and tractor paint.
All new gaskets, valves,crank reground, and new big ends, small ends and camshaft sent away and checked,all came back well within tolerances. Engine was rebuilt in 2000.
All coolers and suchlike cleaned and new o rings,new hoses etc.
Seawater pump stripped and rebuilt,freshwater pump from good donor engine and all working fine. Borg Warner velvet drive works fine,no slow or sloppy changing,oil changed every year and clean when comes out. New hoses to go on gearbox.
All new 10mm fuel lines.
Over 6k spent so far on the restoration.
New seacock and hoses,and strainer.
2 wood burning stoves and a Chinese diesel heater.
