The Westport Pilot 4 is a proper little sea boat ideally suited to inshore fishing, although having said that I regularly go 8-10 miles off after Haddock.

There’s a saying, “The smaller the boat – the bigger the fun,” not forgetting the ease of handling and low running costs. That’s certainly true of the Westport Pilot 4. Take a look at the sea trial write ups.

“Little Auk” is a 2014 model and she is in immaculate condition. Pilot 4’s have a removable cuddy (4 clips) enabling you to convert to an open boat.

“Little Auk” has a number of features that make her more desirable and very usable.
* Pedestal seats that swivel and adjust. She fishes 2 comfortably.
* Smart SX Trim Tabs that enable the boat to get rapidly onto the plane and improve performance.
* Automatic draining cockpit. If berthed on a pontoon as it means you can hose down the boat after fishing and you are not left with any water in the cockpit!

The Yamaha outboard runs beautifully, has 2 keys, is fitted with an immobiliser and has just 64 hours on the meter. The engine was serviced at the back end of 2021. There is a service kit included in the sale. The engine can either be serviced by me or you can use the service kit to do the service yourself. That way you know it’s all good!

The boats sits on a brand new (April 2022) DeGraff Trailer – Model SB 750/2 ADJ. This roller trailer with swinging cradle makes launching and, especially recovery, very very easy even on shallow slips. Being unbraked, it is simple and low cost to maintain. It’s also very light and super easy to move about on your driveway!

I would welcome enquires about the boat.

If the logistics of travelling to view are difficult, I’m sure I can handle a video call and do a virtual viewing.

Being in Scotland is not the easiest place from which to collect a boat. I would be happy to deliver, almost anywhere in the country, as part of an agreed deal. However, please note: In December I will be travelling south to Gloucestershire, and could easily bring the boat with me, thus making collection very easy for a prospective purchaser on the south coast.

This is a very comprehensive package of an extremely seaworthy boat in immaculate condition.

DO NOT SEND MONEY TO SELLERS YOU CANNOT VERIFY AS GENUINE.

If possible, travel to view the boat or equipment yourself and only buy once you are happy with it.
