Totally refurbed in 2015 for the MOD, it was a full nut and bolt refit by Ribcraft in Yeovil. They were vying for the MOD contract to refurb the whole fleet of older Halmatic RIBs so was a highly expensive and detailed job (for the most part see below). The deck and all fittings were replaced as was all wiring etc. An impressive rebuild, again for the most part. The tubes were not reconditioned but in working order.

I bought the boat in 2016 (£35k) used it that season and next only to discover in mid 2017 during its first service that the engine (yanmar 150) was totally corroded and beyond repair. Ribraft offered me no support which was a bit shocking. I have sat on it hoping to get money together to put a new engine in but for various reasons (including the pandemic) the money never came. The boat needs a new engine (the jet unit is fine) or to have a transom built and an outboard fitted.

I don't need to tell you about the Arctic 22, if you're looking you know what it is. I crossed the channel from Portland to Guernsey in April of 2016 in 3 hours, they are built for absolute surety on the sea. I'm gutted to be letting it go but such is life. The main picture is how it was in 2016. It has sat out since then and looks a little sadder (other pics) but tubes are in good workable condition, deck and hull are in excellent condition. If you're looking for a project then it doesn't get much better than this. Low price in order to get quick sale.
