Current class V & VI passenger certificates for 60 passengers plus crew
Full extensive refit in 2019 with integration of Diesel Electric hybrid system based around an R200 Hyundai Seasall Diesel engine and a custom Electric Motor, control system and Lithium ion Batteries. This was all part of a HEVIMA project with REEP Systems and some other parties including academic centres.
It has operated successfully for the summer of 2019 on a Diesel Electric cycle of approximately 20 minutes diesel steaming and charging to 20 minutes of silent electric operation. It would the batteries would give you an hrs running at approximately 6-7 knots alone and it averages out at 1:1 charging on diesel while steaming to time under electric propulsion.
Comes with all necessary lifesaving equipment, liferaft is on hire from Survitec.
