This is a good, solid work boat. It’s not pretty, but I haven’t got the time to do the few jobs needed to bring it up to scratch. It’s stable and economical and can fish up to 4 people.
Electric bilge pump, hand pump, battery, oars, rowlocks, stainless steel keel band, anchor, chain and rope, rod holders, forward storage locker, tie down strap, removeable central thwart.
Good points:
Stable and spacious platform, great for hauling pots or other heavy work. Can work strings of 5 pots.
Custom made galvanised trailer – boat can be launched and retrieved single handed on slipway without the wheels touching the water. New bearings fitted this week. New winch. Spare wheel.
Economical engine. Full service less than 50 running hours ago. New water pump and impeller fitted in January, engine not used since. 25 litre fuel tank. Slight scratches to hood.
Comes with a bolt–on cuddy if needed (work required),
Bad points:
Needs a good paint job.
Some woodwork needs attention on rubbing strake (see photo).
Soft spot on floor, but no leakage.
Cuddy needs window seals replacing and a coat of paint.
Minor dings on prop
