BB240 ex RNLI boarding boat served at Humber 1992 until 2013, you are looking at a high quality double carvel built mahogony planked and fully epoxied hull which was built by the RNLI for themselves at their lowestoft college along with its sister boat BB239, this boat is the last wooden boat to be built by the RNLI.

As can be seen massive whale back bow totally sealed for the ultimate bouyancey with any other spray or water running off large deck scuppers on the self draining deck.

Completely fitted with stainless rails everywhere to do its job of boarding onto the Severn class boats, full RNLI electric pack lights radio etc and non slip decks and gunnels make this boat the land rover of the sea.
Powered by twin 2002 50 hp Mariner ELPTO reliable 2 stroke autolube outboards fitted and fully maintained by the RLNI these low hour engines are perfect for this 5.9 meter by 2.7 meter boat.
