Artful Dodger was built in 2012 to Seafish Specification and is certified as such enabling the boat to be used commercially. She has been MCA Coded since new for Catergory 2, 60 miles from safe haven enabling the boat to be used for charter fishing although since new she has only been used for recreational sport angling. The coding was renewed in May 2019 expiring in 2024. She is the perfect fishing platform whether drifting offshore banks for bass, wrecking or at anchor. She is fitted with a powerful CJ capstan winch and ‘smart’ spray rails. This is the perfect boat for the serious sport angler or is a ready to go/ turn key charter boat. All safety equipment is owned and included and by requirement of the coding, in date. The twin Honda 115 engines have a full service history, low hours and have been looked after to the extent that they have never been run without being flushed through with freshwater at the end of the day. AD cruises at 16 knots and has a top speed of 25 knots plus using 34 litres an hour in total. If used as a charter boat the coding allows the reclamation of both duty and tax making the cost of unleaded fuel cheaper than diesel. She holds 340 litres of fuel enabling up to 10 hours of travel. She is fitted with a top of the range 12v Francis searchlight to facilitate travel at night through congested moorings etc. I have really looked after this boat and spared no expense in her fitting out and care.
