MV Fraoch, was built 1977 by Davis & Son Gloucester. 11.15m Loa with a beam of 4.05m Fraoch has been working locally in the West of Scotland for around 20 years mostly doing mooring work. She has in the past had a Factory reconditioned Cummings NT855335hp engine with approximately 8000 hrs on it now. Professionally fitted stern roller. Variable displacement hydraulic pump mounted on the fwd end of the engine c/w an 80ltr hydraulic tank. 2 brand new batteries June 2017. She has a Hardy Engineering bow thruster in a 300 mm tunnel 35hp hydraulic driven. She also has a Grampian power clean seawater pressure washer built in. Built in Pramac diesel driven 5.5kva genset. Two fuel tanks 1000ltrs either side. Various electronics. Forward cabin currently used for storage but could be modified for bunks if required. Access here for bow thruster. Large hold currently used for storage of mooring equipment, dive gear and also stores large CO2 fire extinguisher for engine room. Fitted with joystick steering with a steerable nozzle around a fixed pitch propeller. She is fitted with a HIAB deck crane which has a lifting capacity of 3.4t @ 1.7m. Fraoch is currently not coded but has been in the past and previous coding paperwork and previous out of water photos are available on request.
