Additional Information:

A beautiful Dell Quay Fisherboat from 1970 in almost original near pristine condition. This boat was believed to be the Earls Court Boat Show exhibit in 1970, and has had only two caring owners since. Original Norwegian electric start Sabb single cylinder Model G 8hp marine diesel engine with variable pitch propeller which sips fuel, and also comes with the standard hand start mechanism, and 'cigarettes' for 'arctic' low temperature starting (so far, never needed!). Folding flexible shelter hood at bow, also comes with custom made all-over laying up cover with varnished support hoops, galvanised double axle road trailer with brakes, winch, guide posts etc and a basic steel launching trolley with guide posts, wooden keel support, bronze bush wheel bearings and pneumatic tyres, so no need to get the road trailer under water every time if you live near a slipway. The boat displaces 2100 lbs, including the 500lb iron ballast casting which was moulded into the hull during construction.
A few engine spares are included, plus galvanised fisherman anchor with chain and rope, battery, fenders, oars and rowlocks, bilge pump, bronze bow roller.
Currently lying Clyde, but could deliver by road for the cost of the fuel and expenses if required. The boat was designed for Dell Quay by Carey Goldsworthy, and was cunningly arranged so that the floor/deck level is just above water level, allowing the bung to be removed and the boat to be self draining while on a mooring, although I have never been brave enough to test this for real!
You will not find a better Fisherboat!
