Coral Wind is a 14m Gemini Fastcat 14m, built in 2011 by Bluewater boats, Plymouth.

What makes Coral Wind special is her versatility. To start with - she is a superb survey boat.

Her tremendous stability coupled with her central moon pool, A-frame, deck winch and a crane has given Coral Wind a well deserved reputation as an excellent survey platform. She has worked around the UK for a number of clients including the Admiralty.

She is also used for some crew transfer both ship to ship and ship to tower – using the bow fendering arrangement.

A low freeboard coupled with gates on the transom, the A frame, winch and crane, all give her the capability to deploy and recover moorings and buoys with ease. In addition she had been used for Dive operations in conjunction with the Royal Navy, and others. We regularly launch and recover ROVs from the boat as ROV operations is one of our specialities.

She’s an economic boat to run, using around 90L/Hr (combined) in the cruise and so she’s not expensive for the client.

We have owned her since 2014 and she is now only being offered for sale due to company restructuring.
