Links to videos are from a couple of years ago are just to show the ease of hauling. Ignore the dialogue as was for the band Facebook page!

Myself and Donald W. MacLeod bought this boat during Covid when all my Skipinnish band gigs were cancelled. It has been an amazing few years fishing her and witnessing Donald transform her with his immense refitting/engineering skills, but band and other mainland commitments need to take priority again, hence the difficult decision to sell.

Donald has carried out two major refits - totalling over £150K worth of work and material/equipment costs - on the boat since we bought her, the first mainly above deck and the second recent one mainly below deck and in wheelhouse. Details below. The ease of working with Donald’s deck setup – particularly the comfort, safety and finger-tip access to controls of hauling station - is astounding. I worked her comfortably single handed for a few months and suits 2 or 3 handed. The videos show the safety and ease of the hauling position set-up with steering lever, hauler and engine controls all safely aft of any moving parts/creels or rope and in a protected box on starboard gunnel. The boat can be getting thrown about and dancing a Highland Fling but you’re totally secure and comfy standing in there with all controls right beside you. The hinged table also gives easy and safe access to foredeck.

She was used as a netter originally and has a very large hold area. Would be easy to convert back for that job. I was also told by a previous owner that she was designed to take an 8 ton vivier but went netting instead so with removal of some ballast, a vivier of that size could be installed.
