Additional Information:
Beautifully and strongly constructed boat built in South of France in Rhone Valley in 1982. Iroko planking on small oak frames (every 8 or so inches) copper fixed, with 3 strong longitudinal stringers and very heavy keel (incorporating heavy iron weight to counterbalance masts and sails). Ketch rigged main is gaff, mizzen is bermuda, choice of 4 hank on jibs on 2 forward stays (outer one being on the bowsprit). Sails very well for a heavy displacement boat approx 15 tonnes. Great sea keeping qualities, have misjudged the weather a couple of times and this boat has come through it like a wee duck. I am the 4th owner and my only reason for wanting to sell is that I want a considerably bigger vessel for sail cruising with passengers (would consider part exchange for suitable vessel) There are 8 berths on "Bonxie" in 3 cabins, realistically this would be cramped, comfort for 4 and doable for 6 though 2 couples each with 2 children could have a lot of fun & comfort in this surprisingly spacious boat (for 36' she is Tardis like with good headroom throughout, 2 forward most bunks excepted) Previous owner worked in IT and gave me a very good Adobe presentation which I will forward to interested parties. Will deliver or assist with same for non returnable payment of 10% deposit, stating the obvious, an actual visit and sea trails would be advisable, doubt if she will disappoint, very able boat for the size range.
DO NOT SEND MONEY TO SELLERS YOU CANNOT VERIFY AS GENUINE.
If possible, travel to view the boat or equipment yourself and only buy once you are happy with it.
