The Manta Marine DC695 has recently been completed and is being offered for sale without engines and equipment. This provides a prospective buyer with the opportunity to rig engines and equipment of their choice. Twin 60/70hp engines are more than adequate and would produce approx. 30kts. The hull design has been thoroughly tested with a single offset 90hp engine and performed well, a single 60/70hp would provide sufficient power. If preferred, we can supply and fit engines and equipment of your choice or recommend competent engineers.

This boat has been manufactured with an off-set helm consul which has a protective screen, the helm also has an inset storage area to accommodate charts and personal items. There is an integral seat in front of the helm which can be used as a bait box. The pedestal for the helm seat is adjustable. The seats either side of the transom gate can accommodate batteries and fuel tanks. Additional seating can be manufactured to your designs. The three openings in the bow section are ideal for storage and can easily hold a windlass and chain. The lockers can be fitted with doors if required. Additional seats/storage lockers can be provided if required along with any other requirements.

The DC695 open deck is suitable for many applications especially all forms of fishing, providing a very large stable work platform and excellent fuel economy.

The hull was designed and the plugs made by David Burgess who is a legend in the F1 racing boat world. Dave designed and built 48 world championship winners, he is an expert in twin hull design. The hull design has been extensively tested in all sea states by Jonathan Jones, Dave’s F1 driver and a keen boat fisherman.

Alasdair Reay at HPI Verification Services designed the GRP hull layup schedule and provided the CE and UKCA certification for our previously completed boats.
