Purchased by Royal Mersey Yacht club in 2018 and used as a committee boat for starting races , the boat is now surplus to requirements and is offered for sale .
Wheelhouse has been professionally extended, as is common in these boats , in order to incorporate a bulkhead and offer a sealed , dry environment for the helmsman and instruments
Perkins 6.354 engine , Borg Warner 2:1 box , tides marine dripless steel on stern gear. She does 10-12 knots , the engine is old but honest and has proved very reliable during the clubs ownership .
Complete rudder assembly professionally replaced 2019.
Hydraulic steering including emergency tiller and raymarine autopilot
Furuno radar , gps , plotter and depthsounder /fishfinder.
Major refit 2022 including replacement of keel and both bilge keels in quality hardwood, replacement of all keel bolts in custom made phosphor bronze , renewal of keel bands and fixings in 316 stainless and the installation of a cambered self draining deck , including the fitting of a bespoke flush hatch to allow good access to the stern gear and gearbox .
A new engine box was also constructed at the same time.
All the above work has been performed professionally with invoices to confirm .
The stainless steel work on the boat is also worth mentioning, guardrails , grab rails , radar arch and window frames are excellent.
She also boasts a 4” rubber belting all round the gunwhales which is in as new condition.
Both the club and the previous owner have gone to considerable expense to maintain this craft to a decent standard.
She does need some work now having stood since autumn 2025, this is mostly cosmetic but does need to incorporate some rebedding of fittings through the coach roof.
