Perkins T6 354.4 (1974) turbocharged diesel marine engine producing 195hp. Raw water cooled. Dual lever control with electric start. Shaft drive to a 3-bladed bronze propeller.

The engine had a full rebuild in 2020 and has had about 100 hours of running since. It has also had the fuel injectors, fuel pump and water pump replaced.

This Mitchell 31 Mk1 is a very solidly built motor cruiser that is well set up for fishing trips. With plenty of power from the Perkins engine, which was rebuilt in 2020, she will cruise at 10-12 knots and Mitchell's are well renowned for their sea keeping abilities. Mabel-B was surveyed in April 2022 and the report is available to any interested parties.
