Although the boat has a build year of 2001 she was first launched in 2003.

Engine and Drive:
Superbly tough, smooth, powerful and reliable Yamaha ME421 STI, 4.2 litre 240HP turbo diesel and stern-drive with stainless-steel prop’.
The engine, its systems and drive are all in good order having undergone an £8000 reconditioning in time for the 2017 season at Yamaha diesel specialists BBMS in Swanwick.
The extensive reconditioning programme at BBMS included crankshaft and bearings inspection, examination and compression measuring of cylinders and pistons as well as removal and reconditioning of the cylinder-head including new valves. Additionally, a complete reconditioning, by specialists, of the fuel system, including diesel injector-pump and injectors. Additionally extensive refurbishment by BBMS of the raw and fresh water cooling systems as well as the intercooler, renewal of the exhaust system, back-wash flap and water outlet elbow, specialist refurbishment of the electrical and charging systems including a new alternator. – All belts and hoses were replaced with new. – A complete list of work, replacement components and equipment as well as the original itemised report/estimate and the invoices are available for inspection. 250 engine hours have been added since the rebuild. - Total engine hours from new is just over 1550.

The boat has a comprehensive inventory of up-to-date high-quality equipment including the following items which were new for the 2017 season:
-          Secondary, stand-alone, 12v recirculating fuel polishing system incorporating a Racor 500FG filter/water-trap. This is designed to be operated on an occasional basis when moored to maintain tip-top fuel quality/integrity as well as freedom from water/condensate contamination and from the dreaded “diesel-bug”.

-          Auxiliary outboard engine on a heavy-duty stainless-steel bracket: This is a 2011 Yamaha FT G MHL 9.9hp high-thrust, long-shaft with tiller extension and separate 25 litre fuel-tank. This engine is started regularly but has run for fewer than 10 hours in total (start tests only).
-          Simpson Lawrence electric anchor windlass with in-cabin operation facility.
