I have decided its time to sell my Rib – Red Kite.

My boat is the actual boat pictured on the website.
The Boat was built in 2014 and has a 2014 Mercury Optimax 250Hrs which has 263hrs on it - this will go up as the boat is still in use.
The overall length of the boat is 8.6m, or 28ft and has a good amount of storage on board.
The hull has a moulded in engine pod by design to enhance performance.
The vessel benefits from a Seastar Extreme 6” Set back jack plate and Seastar hydraulic steering.
The inflatable collar has 7 chambers each of which has an inflation valve and an overpressure relief valve, the collar is made from Hypalon and have no repairs or patches
The boat is 50kts capable and cruises comfortably between 30 to 40kts depending on sea state.
The boat has a 220L under deck plastic tank.
The boat has a reasonably good electronics package including a Standard Horizon GX2400/E Fixed VHF which built in AIS Receiver and a Lowrance HDS 7 Chart plotter / fish finder – AIS targets detected by the Radio are displayed on the Chart plotter.
BEP Battery isolation and managment system.
The Boat includes a roller coaster trailer and an all over cover.
The engine has 263hrs use, which will increase as the boat is still in used, the engine has been maintained by a local marine engine specialist who I would be happy for any perspective buyer to contact independently to verify.
The Boat is in overall good condition for its age, but does have some issues which at some point could do with some attention:
Rear deck area has some soft spots.
Radio Screen is dim
Some of the seat cushions could do with attention
Some small gel coat cracking on some of the deck fittings – Non structural!
This is all reflected in the asking price.
