"fire fly" is a 24 ft turn key boat and wants for nothing. she is best described as a sports fisher on steroids. American designed and built, solidly constructed from heavy duty GRP. No expense has been spared on her as money was no object for the previous owner who had a brand new yanmar 240hp turbo charged diesel engine fitted by yanmar engineers along with a brand new bravo 3 x pack duo prop stern drive, at a cost of over £ 30,000.
also fitted at the same time was a custom made heavy duty stainless steel radar arch at a cost of
£ 2200. spare anchor and warps etc, flare pack, life ring, stove, kettle porta loo, bait trays, filleting tray etc, etc,
The boat comes with a 5 year old twin axle SBS trailer which has just received a full service, new bearings and brakes etc. even sports/ski boats have trouble keeping up with fire fly ( see video link).
fire fly has excellent sea keeping qualities as you would expect from a robust build and is very economical to run as yanmar diesel engines are renown for their reliability and fuel efficiency, using approximately 4gph @26 knots, but in the hour you'd be covering 28 miles, making it economical to fish solo or with 2 or 3 mates. huge deck space for fishing with large walkaround side decks for safety.
small but functional cabin for storage etc with cushions for the cockpit and bow seat and engine cover making her a good family boat able to tow half a dozen skier's or inflatable banana etc.
also comes with a full awning, overhauled last year, with full standing headroom when erected.
if angling is your thing you will not find a better more reliable boat at this size.
can be towed with a four wheel drive ( I use a landcruiser ) and can be delivered at cost if required .
mooring available at cost or prepaid park and launch storage paid up till June if required .
