Romany 21 - PUFFIN

Built in 1968, PUFFIN is a Round Bilge craft with keel and bilge keels.
She is tough, fun, easy to handle and a very good, stable seagoing boat

Measuring 21ft x 7ft 9ins, she weighs 2 tons, including 1/2 ton of ballast, and draws 2ft of water.
Fitted with a 24hp BUKH 2 stroke seawater cooled diesel engine, she has a maximum speed of 6 knots, and cruises at 4 - 5 knots with her 10 x 11 propeller providing good towing capacity and control.

There are two steering positions – the steering wheel and the popular aft well external tiller alternative.

There is a fore cabin with 2 bunks, and a chemical toilet.

PUFFIN is for sale with benefit of all tailored upholstered cushions for the cabin as well as the external well, together with a full aft awning, supported by stainless steel construction.

Equipment also included is: Anchor, anchor chain, aft well storage awning,

General Condition:

In need of some general TLC at present, including anti-fouling, repainting etc, and a certain amount of refurbishment, having been on land storage for the last five years under a protective shelter.

The cabin is in process of refitting, and will require completion.
The engine has not been run, and will need a high end service. The all-round 4in diameter coir rope fender has been removed and a new one will need to be purchased and fitted.
