Absolutely magnificent Saltram 24 Motor Boat. A genuinely much loved vessel which has been extensively rebuilt by the vendor, almost every part replaced for new.

The Saltram 24 is a well respected British built vessel by Skentelbery & Son of Plymouth, a very stable drive, made even better on “Kingfisher” with bilge keels. The hull design has stood the test of time and continues to this day in the form of a Plymouth Pilot 24.

Originally laid up in 1985, commissioned for first use in 1995, this was the only one built with this gelcoat colour. Now fitted with a Beta 35hp Diesel inboard, shaft driven with Tides dripless seal, paired with a Techodrive twin disc gearbox. All brand new in 2011 with 950 hours use. She’ll cruise forever and a day at 6 knots (2,200 rpm), giving you a pleasurable ride in most sea states.

Last survey available. Completely rebuilt from Hull upwards including new deck, new cabin, new lockers, new engine and rigging, new windows etc, to a very high standard with all fixture/fittings replaced for new. The quality of the product and workmanship is there to admire.

Comfortable 2 Berth cabin. Sea Toilet (unused). Twin batteries. Live bait tank. Twin bilge pumps (plus a manual pump). 3 x fire extinguishers ( 2 x 1kg 1 x 0.5kg). Impressive condition. This isn’t your everyday Saltram 24. It’s a one off chance to purchase essentially a 2011 package, from a a 1995 Hull. Reluctantly available due to vendors personal circumstances.

Hull was completely stripped back to original GRP, with an epoxy Gelshield protection then applied to protect her bottom, antifoul primer and hard antifoul. Since this, she’s never been left afloat. Always dry stored and used on a lunch/recover basis (last 10 years) upon request. This has helped maintain her outstanding qualities.
