For sale is a 30ft Powerglide fast fishing pleasure or commercial boat. Built by Port Isaac Boats / Rod Baker in Wadebridge Cornwall, it has been rebuilt to very high specification and been run for 2 years so all teething problems have been ironed out. Its one of the best sea boats and probably the best 30ft mono hull out there that is economical, low hours and fully kitted out with all the latest electronics and fishing aids you could hope for.
It was built in 2005, not commissioned for many years, then run for a short time only. The original wiring and electronics were outdated so the boat was stripped of its wiring, electronics, fittings etc and brand new top of the line fittings and electronics were installed. It has a very large sealed, self draining deck space suitable for 8 anglers and three to four berths, seating and mini kitchen facilities. Lots of cupboard and stowage space.
The engine is a turbocharged Volvo Penta TAMD-63p and puts out a healthy 370hp. It takes the boat up to 27knots and cruises at 22 knots. It’s very economical and does not suffer from the electronics managements systems that modern engines have. In other words its extremely reliable with very low hours approx. 600 hrs from new. It has been fully serviced and the turbo was recently rebuilt professionally to ensure maximum performance and reliability.
It’s an excellent sea going boat that performs very well in high seas. It is also very stable.
