Ford Mermaid Turbo four,(140 hp) based on a Ford Dover block and marinised by Mermaid. This drives a 1¼-inch stainless-steel shaft and a four-bladed propeller. The P strut bracket bearing and the Stern gland were replaced (2025), which was upgraded to a Deep Seal dip-less seal.

Stainless steel rudder operated by a rotary steering system with a wooden ship's wheel.

A pressurised cold water pump provides water to both the galley and the head sinks.
