Additional Information:
The St Andrew was the last of the 41 Watson’s, built in 1951 by William Osborne, she was first stationed at Whitehills then Girvan, Arklow. She was sold off by the RNLI in 1982.
The St Andrew has stunning lines and is unaltered outwardly, the cabin has been modified to accommodate two berths in the bow section.
She is fitted with the ultra reliable twin Fordson 47hp Parsons Porbeagles, very economical burning less than one gallon per hour per engine at cruising speed of 7 knots. The St Andrew is very manoeuvrable easily handled by one person, with the added benefit of an open wheelhouse.
I have had the pleasure of owning the St Andrew for the last 10 years but it is time to move her on to the next caring owner, she is in very good condition.
