Bayside 9.8m Fishing/Passenger Boat - Huge Amount of New Parts & Work Done

Location: Southend-on-Sea (SS3 postcode)

Reluctantly selling my Bayside 9.8m fishing boat. A change in my circumstances means she has to go, which I'm gutted about as I've spent the last few years and a small fortune getting this boat properly sorted.

This isn't your average boat; it was previously coded for carrying passengers and is an incredibly stable and capable platform with a huge deckspace, perfect for fishing trips, family days out, or even diving. It's mechanically sound, has had a fresh coat of paint, and I've basically rebuilt it from the ground up. I have a massive folder of receipts for pretty much everything mentioned below.

Performance & Specs:
----------------------------
Speed: Top speed of 9 knots with a clean bottom.

Cruising: Sits comfortably all day long at 6-7 knots.

Fuel: Incredibly economical, using only around 5 litres an hour at cruising speed.

Capacity: Previously coded for 12 passengers and 2 crew.

Here's a list of the main jobs I've done:
-------------------------------------------
Complete Rewire: I mean EVERYTHING. Stripped every old wire out and started from scratch with proper marine-grade cable (Oceanflex tinned stuff). No more electrical gremlins.

New Fuse Boxes, Relays & Breakers: All power is now run safely through new fuse boxes and heavy-duty circuit breakers.

New Dash & Gauges: New ignition, new switch panel with USB chargers, and all new gauges – Rev counter, Fuel, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Voltmeter.

New Lights: Bright LED light bars on the outside and new LED strip lights inside.

ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN
---------------------------
Engine Overhauled: Fully serviced and running sweet. The heat exchanger was also replaced in recent years.

Complete Fuel System Rebuild: I replaced the lot – all new fuel lines, new stop valves, and the tank was taken out, professionally cleaned and flushed, and reinstalled.

Brand New Prop Shaft: A seriously heavy-duty Duplex stainless steel shaft, with all new couplings.

Prop Refurbed: The propeller was sent off to be professionally overhauled and balanced.

New Cooling System: All the pipes and fittings are brand new.

Hull & Safety Stuff
-----------------------
All New Seacocks: Ripped out all the old metal ones and replaced them with top-spec TruDesign composite seacocks and skinfittings. A massive and expensive job, but done right for total peace of mind.

Complete Bilge Overhaul: All bilge pumps, pipes, and fittings throughout the boat have been replaced with brand new parts.

New Windows: Got rid of the old perspex and had proper 10mm toughened safety glass windows custom-made and fitted.

Helm
-------
It's ready for you to plug in your fishfinder – I've already installed a new Airmar P79 in-hull transducer.

A Bit More History
----------------------
The boat was previously coded for commercial fishing trips up to 20nm offshore. This shows you the type of solid, seaworthy vessel it is. It could easily be coded again if you wanted to, but you would need to buy the necessary safety gear (liferaft, lifejackets etc.) as these were not included when I bought it.

What's Left To Do?
To be totally upfront, there are a couple of small things left on the list.

It needs a coat of antifoul before she goes in the water for the season.

The last job I had planned was to replace the deck floor. The current floor is usable as is, but if you wanted the boat to be 100% perfect, you might want to do it in the future.

Good news – I've already bought all the marine-grade and fireproof wood needed to do the floor. If you're interested, we can agree on an extra price for these to be included in the sale.

Any questions, just ask. This is a solid, reliable boat that's had all the hard work and money spent on it already.

Contact to arrange a viewing.

No silly offers or time wasters, please. Cheers!
