Rouge was the last example of the traditional range of the "Mitchell 23" built at Newhaven, Sussex in 1972. She is clinker built Mahogany on Oak Frames. er hull was used to shape the new moulds for the manufacture of the glass fibre version of these fine sea worthy craft. This is a wonderful sea boat with exceptional qualities due to her wide beam and heavy build making her very stable. She takes the bottom well so is quite happy on a tidal berth. The open wheelhouse and beam provides more space for anglers. It has a sheltered cover to protect from rain etc.
